The Division of Insurance Homeowners’ Insurance Availability Study is now available. Legislation passed and signed into law last year, SB22-206 - Disaster Preparedness And Recovery Resources, directed the Division to conduct a study and prepare a report concerning the stability and availability of homeowner’s insurance for Coloradans. Homeowners’ Insurance Availability Study Report
The study analyzes the availability of insurance coverage in Colorado homeowners’ insurance market, premiums, and wildfire exposure and risk. The study also provides insight into information on methods that could help to stabilize and strengthen the market.
