Notice relating to insurance company tax credits for contributions to the Colorado health benefit exchange
The Division of Insurance provides the following notice relating to insurance company tax credits for contributions to the Colorado health benefit exchange pursuant to section 10-22-110, C.R.S. As of August 15, 2024, the tax credits allocated by the Commissioner of Insurance for tax year 2024 are less than the full amount of tax credits eligible to be allocated. As of August 15, 2024, there are $9M in tax credits remaining to be allocated. Insurance companies may declare their intent to contribute to the Colorado health benefit exchange pursuant to section 10-22-110(4)(c), C.R.S, with their quarterly tax payments in October 2024.
