Certificates of Deposit for Domestic Companies

Certificates of Deposit demonstrate that the insurance company has securities of specified value that is for the benefit of its policyholders.

Each Certificate of Deposit consists of the certification page, which includes the State Seal, and a page that sets forth the detail of the deposit. Be sure you print all pages to get the complete Certificate. Deposits are held for domestic companies at the the most recent year end, as shown in the table below.

Domestic companies that have securities on joint deposit with the Commissioner will be able to download Certificates of Deposit from our website. The Certificate will be in the format prescribed by the NAIC for UCAA purposes. Once this Certificate is available on the website, we will no longer take requests to prepare such Certificates unless specific circumstances require a date other than the year end date. We plan to update this information annually, by the end of January, for the most recent prior year end.
