The Division is seeking comments on the following UPDATED draft proposed new regulation:
The purpose of this regulation is to establish minimum standards for determining when a Premium Deficiency Reserve is necessary, for companies providing individual and group health coverage, and to implement rules for calculating the reserve.
This regulation is being amended to update the definition of Contract Grouping, and to add requirements around expenses disclosures and Premium Deficiency Reserve calculations.
The Division is requesting your comments be submitted to DORA_INS_RulesandRecords@state.co.us no later than 5 PM, November 12, 2020.
