The Division is seeking comments on the following draft proposed repeals:
The purpose of this regulation is to establish a special enrollment period for current Medicare supplement policyholders who may be impacted by the federal changes to Medicare that eliminate the ability of new beneficiaries to purchase certain Medicare supplement policies on and after January 1, 2020. Colorado consumers who are currently enrolled in a Medicare Supplement Policy Plan C, a Medicare Supplement Policy Plan F, or a high deductible Medicare Supplement Policy Plan F, may be impacted by the federal
changes to the federal Medicare program that became effective on January 1, 2020.
This regulation was promulgated to establish a special enrollment period in accordance with federal changes to Medicaid. This regulation is being repealed as it is no longer necessary.
The purpose of this regulation is to provide the requirements for property and casualty insurance companies to comply with ยงยง 10-1-136 and 10-3-1119, C.R.S., as amended by House Bill 23-1004 (HB23-1004).
This regulation was promulgated in response to Section 10-3-1119, C.R.S. This section was repealed effective May 31, 2024, making this regulation no longer applicable.
