The State of Colorado is seeking interested individuals to apply to serve on the FAIR (Fair Access to Insurance Requirements) Plan Association Board of Directors as one of the consumer representatives on the Board.
The FAIR Plan is a program designed to provide property insurance coverage for homeowners and businesses when coverage is unavailable through traditional means. HB23-1288, establishing the FAIR Plan, was passed by the legislature and signed into law by the Governor on May 12, 2023. The Board is made up of representatives from insurance companies, consumer advocates, and industry professionals.
The State is seeking a qualified individual to serve on the Board of Directors to represent the interest of consumers. By statute, to the extent practicable, the individual shall represent consumer advocacy organizations and diverse geographic areas of the state.
