The Division will host the first meeting of the Colorado Out-of-Network Payment Methodology Work Group, pursuant to House Bill (HB) 22-1284, on November 15, 2022 at 12 PM. The work group is tasked with discussing ways to facilitate and streamline the implementation of Section 10-16-704 (13), C.R.S., which permits providers or facilities to request data from carriers to evaluate the carriers compliance in paying the highest rate required under Sections 10-16-704(3)(d) and 10-16-704(5.5)(b), C.R.S.
The first meeting with focus on sharing the work group purpose, objectives, and work plan; reviewing the current data request and verification process; and discussing what is working well and what can be improved about the current process. The work group will seek feedback from the public.
