Public Meeting on the Costs and Benefits of Requiring Health Insurance Coverage for Certain Services

On September 1, the Division of Insurance (Division) issued two Requests for Information (RFI), one on the costs and benefits associated with an annual mental wellness examination and one on the costs and benefits associated with certain substance use disorder (SUD) related services.
These coverage proposals derive from HB20-1086, concerning an annual mental health wellness examination, and from HB20-1085, concerning prevention of SUD. Please refer to the legislation for additional information.
As set forth in the RFIs, the Division will hold a virtual public meeting from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, to take comments from the public for consideration in evaluating these coverage proposals.
